About Piedmont Indoor Tennis

Piedmont Indoor Tennis is a tennis court in Greensboro, North Carolina. It is listed at 21 Oak Branch Dr B, Greensboro, NC 27407, which places it among the local businesses of Greensboro that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. You can reach Piedmont Indoor Tennis at (336) 299-6894; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

Greensboro is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Greensboro follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Courts are covered in yellow fuzz and in the summer the indoor temps are in the 90s—it’s miserable. The least they could do is open the doors and turn the fans on (AND use a leaf blower to get the fuzz up). I’ve played there twice in the summer and won’t do it again. Piedmont, do better.

Community is amazing-- courts are wonderfully kept and lighting is really good. Slight heating in the winter but never overwhelming, and availability is great.

We really like James as our tennis teacher. He's always friendly and teaches with a nice voice. My wife and I have fun playing tennis with him every week. We come from Winston-Salem just to be with him. James is a really nice person, and we enjoy learning tennis from him a lot

I’m a newbie at tennis and walking into this facility I was intimidated at first. It is a large warehouse building with 8 courts! But the friendly staff put me at ease. The courts are clean and spacious. The other players here are nice and amazing to watch. I’m excited to see where my game goes.

Not bad. The lights on some courts get in the way of play. There were a few rain leaks so 2 courts were closed. The actual court was good but for about half of the courts it wasn't spectator friendly you have to squeeze through narrow spaces to get through. The actual courts were good and amazing lounge area with TVs and comfortable sofas
